How We Help

Clothing Assistance

Clothing items available for individuals and families

Currently, Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries is now collecting only seasonal clothing.  (For example in March, we are collecting spring/summer clothing. In October, we will be collecting Fall/Winter clothing.)

For over 30 years, NCM has provided gently used clothing items to families in need in our community. In the past, we have distributed over 18,000 articles of clothing annually to families we serve. We receive requests for items such as baby clothes, children’s clothing, jackets, coats, business attire, work boots and undergarments just to name a few.

During the pandemic, our clothing closet was not open to the public and we were unable to accept clothing donations. When we reopened the closet, our space was limited impacting the quantity of donations we could accept.  The entire process of distributing clothing to our clients changed.

In 2023, we are so excited to announce our move to expand our clothing area to a beautiful new 4000 square foot space! We are now able to offer even more clothing to our families.

Most importantly, the clothing closet affords our clients the dignity of selecting basic clothing items that they cannot afford to purchase.
